Biography

Christian is the founder of the Resonance Lab and Inner World Travels and reportage photographer whose work has long been shaped by curiosity, perception, and cultural exploration. Over more than a decade of working across countries and cultures, he offered others access to unfamiliar worlds through the camera.

Over time, his focus expanded from outward exploration toward the exploration of inner worlds. Sound and vibration emerged as new tools of inquiry – much like the camera and lenses, but oriented inward. Today, Christian works with vibroacoustic sound beds, gongs, string instruments, and curated soundtracks  to facilitate embodied listening experiences that are directly felt rather than interpreted.

Christian’s work in the SoundLab is informed by his studies with psychiatrist and sound-healing pioneer Dr. Peter Hess, Heike Hess, and Joel Olivé. In parallel with his sound work, Christian continues to work as a reportage photographer and Art & Creative Director.

About Christian's work at the SoundLab

Christian works at the intersection of sound, perception and embodied consciousness. In SoundLab which he developped, he combines proven elements of sound work – such as the gong ritual developed by Dr Peter Hess – with the methodology of vibroacoustic therapy. This creates spaces for experience that enable deepened states of consciousness and support immersion in inner worlds and spiritual journeys.

Rather than focusing on healing or therapy, the emphasis lies on direct experience, curiosity, and awareness. The sound journeys invite participants to open perception, arrive fully in the present moment, and consciously experience inner processes – as an invitation to exploration and personal expansion.
