About the origins of the Resonance Lab
The Sound and Co-Lab Space emerged from the former Art Laboratory of the Swiss artist Heinrich Bobst. His sculptures refract light into constantly shifting colors and forms. Heinrich Bobst passed away in 2025.
In 2026, his nephew Christian Bobst opened the Resonance Lab within the former Art Laboratory, where the light and spatial objects created there continue to captivate visitors and resonate with the vibrations of instruments such as gongs and monochords.

About the artist Heinrich Bobst and his Art Lab
Heinrich Bobst began creating his first three-dimensional objects at an early stage, following an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician and studies in chemistry. In 2008, he founded the Kunstlabor in Zurich. Bobst became particularly known for his spatial objects made from dichroic-coated acrylic glass, which refract light into constantly shifting color spectra, creating immersive and almost immaterial spatial experiences. His works were exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale. He passed away in Maur in 2025.

About Christian Bobst, the founder of the Resonance Lab
The Resonance Lab is the home of Inner World Travels, a company for sound journeys founded by Christian Bobst in 2025. As a photographer, Christian worked for many years across different countries and cultures, using his camera to offer glimpses into unfamiliar worlds. Over time, his focus expanded toward the exploration of the inner world. Sound instruments became a new tool in this process similar to the camera, yet directed toward inner experience and transformation.

About our philosophy, worldviews and guiding ideas.
Our work is grounded in perception and experience rather. Although our offerings are often described using terms such as sound healing or therapy, we intentionally do not emphasize these labels, as our primary aim is not to “fix” something, but to facilitate conscious experience. We consciously choose art over spiritual symbols in our space, allowing people of all backgrounds and worldviews to feel comfortable with us.

Impressions from Our Spaces and Work
They say a picture is worth a thousand words – but a visit to our space speaks beyond images. We look forward to welcoming you to our SoundLab and Co-Lab, whether you are interested in a sound journey, a private session, or working with us as a practitioner.
